Might need bigger wings if he/she flys, but if not, than it works.

yea hes sorta like a quail or a fesent in that respect he can manage short bursts of flight for a limited distance but cannot fly like a hawk.
his build is ment to be that of a runner but can use the wings for extera bursts of speed as they work to help him manuver as well as relieve some of his bodyweight to run faster and farther without tiring. ^_^ i have a whole character sheet on him and his species that im planning on putting together.
I figured it would be something like that.

i kinda reworked the character now slightly. i wanted something to add to my portfolio later with the sculpture when i get ready to graduate!

I think color would give it the right finishing touch.
Id color it, but I am not sure what your going for other than the sculpture I seen.
Looks very professional and is definitely some portfolio material.
