LoC Second Dawn: Log 22
The Metrocon bar was in full swing. As the Autobot cause had been
hammered back more and more now, entertainment was a highly sought after
The soldiers, taking what leave they could - Usually medical - Took some
solace in the blasting tunes, from Tarn, Vos and even some rare Earth imports.
As the evening got into full swing mechs and fems of all shapes and sized
piled into the popular bar of Macadams. one such Mech and fem enetered
through the doors. they walked togetehr one being a Orange pink and yellow

before they spoke to eachother and one seemed to go walk to the bar while the
other took a seat near the front stage in a booth.
"What'll it be?" Asked the mustachioed bartender.
As Solardive aproached the bar and nodded at the bartender as he made his
common greeting he replyed, "I'll have a glass of mete-grade and something
sweet with a twist for my fem."
The bartender nodded and produced wh

The torches in the great hall had gone dark, the outside light pouring in
creating jagged shapes of dark and shining metal.
The only light aside the gleam of chromed metal was two optics.
DN had morphed through the wall, her form becoming visible in the light. She
stepped upon the floor, spotting her father at his place on his throne, "Dad?"
"Daughter." he rumbled.
DN blinked her optics, "You called?"
"I did." Megatron said. "I've taken time to... reflect on the last time we spoke."
DN raised an optic ridge, "You...did?"
Makes sense - He and Seph can only be in so many places.
"My... reasons may have been sound." Megatron said, obviously
uncomfortable with the possibility of being so mistaken.
"But my reaction was not."
DN blinked, almost dumfounded, "...Really?"
"Just punishment is the cornerstone of stable governance." Megatron
continued. "Too lax, and malcontents eat society from within, like cancer. Too
harsh, and you risk breaking your own people, turning them against you."

The valley rumbled and shook, as if being used as a drum by some titanic
Autobots clung to the trenches uneasily.
The first Decepticons came into view, war machines churning the ruined
metal beneath them.
"This isn't what I signed up for!" shouted one soldier.
Which is when death itself landed before them.
"DIE AUTOBOTS!" Megatron commanded, transforming to tank mode and
The soldier screamed as the blast hit, wiping out him and others nearby.
Dante phased out of the ground in one of the autobot bunkers and began
taking out some of the unexpected forces from behind as they fired at the
uncoming troops. Autobots turned on him but already he was gone to the next
Megatron kept shooting, focused blasts of quantum force destroying the
Autobots even at the most basic level.
Transforming, he spoke into his comm unit. "Dark Nemesis, Dante,
Cyberburst! Your orders are to find general Scattershot! Let the ground
assault have their glory!"
One soldier managed to get a cle

Swiftshock laid his scalpel aside and took the synthflesh mask from the tray,
gently pressing it to Lutrex's exposed endostructure.
One finger traced along the lines of it, applying a short burst of energy that
magnetized the seal, attaching it firmly to the "skull" underneath.
Lutrex still lay uncontious though the whole opperation.
As he magnetized the final seal, he took a needle from the tray and inserted it into
an energon vein, gently rousing the Guardian.
As Lutrex woke, he took a case from a shelf, setting it on the table with an
uncharacteristic lack of energy.

Swiftshock hovered about the lab, moving from machine to machine and
adjusting one part or the other.
"A british tar is a soaring soul..." He half-sung half-mumbled as he worked on
one piece of equipment.
LoC Cirrus.legacyofcybertron says (20:51):
"...I've information Autobot, Ancient and mineral. I know the kings of Kaon
and quote the fights historical from Iacon to Kolkular in order categorical..."
Lutrex lay in a meditative state on as the device continued to draw energy
from his spark at a slower rate.
There was a SCHWOOM as the lab doors opened and Flipswitch entered. "Hi,
He continued to work, head first in what may have looked like a garbage

Kneeling by a ridge, the scout radioed in. "Looks like three on the gate."
Resting the barrel of the rifle on the nearby stone, he added: "Bead on right
"We take them down, sir?" Another scout looked to Lutrex.
The fem most assumed to be Pinky looked towards the Autobot leader as well.
"That might not be neccassary, sir. There are tunnels beneath the prison we can
Lutrex looked in thought for a moment after hering the transmission and Pinkys
coment. "...Do not engage. we are going to find an alternate rout. However stay in
your position for when we return we may need back up." He instructed the snipers
in the surounding buildings of Praxis.
"Roger." The sniper settled into place, optics and running lights going dark.
The rest of the team assembled by Lutrex and Pinky, awaiting orders.
Lutrex turned to Pinky his top Special ops oficer. "Alright Pinky, display for us the
underground pasage way you were talking aobut..." He replied.
The femme nodded, pulling out a small holog

Scattershot ducked his head under the low portal in the dropship. "One
minute til dirtside, sir."
Lutrex noded his helm towrds the other as the ship began its decent into
Polyhex's lords council complex. "The Polyhexian Lords have receieved our

meeting at such short notice..." Lutrex sat on the comand deck of the ship.
Outside the front window, the spire of one of the Polyhex towers loomed

A heavy THUNK echoed through the dropship. A pause, then the side opened,

"Guardian." One of them said.
Lutrex stood before the doors as the ship opened to the politician and the
guards. He noded his helm as he held the Vector Blade staf in his ri

Rain fell on the Pack. Celebratory growls and barks filled the air, a prelude to
later celebrations. Dreadnought, in the lead, savored the taste the Sons left.
The theft from earlier and the surprise attack were still branded into his
memory, and though the indignation didn?t burn as hot anymore, it didn?t
allow for satisfaction to dull his senses.
So it was, when the definite signs of hover treads pressing the dirt crossed
their path and the perimeter scout guarding the Den kept watching their home
itself warily, he saw the signs immediately.
?What has happened?? Dreadnought bounded up to the scout, optics alert.
?We have ... guest.? The lupine mech answered. ?Better you see this with
optics than hear words.?
The Pack was loyal to Dreadnought, showing him all the respect he had
earned. He tolerated no backtalk and they gave him none - Which meant
something well and truly big has just happened.
Within the Den, he could smell the foreigner - It smelt of civilization, of
a hospital bird with soot in her lungsshe slept through a car crash
that almost killed her,
through whitewhite walls
where her lover dies
nobody thought she'd make it
but she woke up a few months later
with flowers in her hair
and ash in her airway
trying to remember how to start all over
but forgetting to remember how to live.
fall slipped from her open eyes
and winter crawled in for a long hibernation
to her the clouds looked sick
and pale like they might
let everything inside them out,
but she opened up wide instead,
spilling blood where there was none to be spilled.
her heart slipped down the street
and with unsteady hands
she stitched in a bird and cut off its wings.
