HelmHats: Lutrex AKA Laserbot

So In an effort to feel better about things ive been working on some Projects. This is in anticipation that I will indeed make it to Botcon...

This is a personal project of mine that turned into something more. I will be wearing this to Botcon 2011 when I'm not in my Animated Jazz costume.

A while back at SDCC 09 I found out that I missed out on meeting several of my net friends despite supposedly being in the same room as them at times! Oh Noes!

So I thought to myself how can I make it so that even in passing one may be able to recognize me by my online profiles if I so chose? Ya know make it simple and easy but at same time not everyone will know? And Bam it hit me... "HelmHats" based on my Fan Characters.

Now I dont have alott of money to spend so I needed to go for something cheap and easy but effective so heres what I did.


This is the first in several I'm making for a couple of people who are going to Botcon this year, Including next a matching set for my Husbands Character Solardive and my fembot fan Character Nitrostorm. We will be together when we wear those heh.

Materials: Fun Foam, Superglue

**The result is a very lightweight/ flexable hat that is durable enouhg to be put on and taken off several times over and if taken care of has the potential to last quite a while.**
